Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic (DR) is the most diverse Caribbean country. It is strategically located two hours south of Miami, less than four hours from New York and eight hours from most European cities. It has some of the world’s top beaches, luxurious resorts, and amazing sports, recreation and entertainment. The DR also is a developing country facing the ongoing struggles of poverty. Volunteer are exposed to excluded and disenfranchised communities and the breathtaking blessings nature has created in the country.

As a volunteer, your efforts will be focused on long lasting permanent interventions. Among these interventions are medical fairs, educational and community infrastructures improvements in rural areas. As a volunteer you will be part of social community development projects. Most of the communities we partner with have no electricity or running water – everyday things that many people take for granted. We make a real difference in the lives of hundreds of underprivileged children and families.
