Language Development
Immersion Opportunities
Increase your confidence your confidence and ability to converse with the locals to enhance your volunteer experience 7 days and 7 nights living with a Costa Rican host family, including two meals a day in their home (breakfast and dinner). Orientation Meeting and Heredia Cultural tour. Half-day tour to the beautiful La Paz Waterfall Gardens. 20 hours of Spanish Language lessons for all levels. Latin dance lessons (three sessions), and an authentic Costa Rican cooking lesson.
Improve your Spanish Speaking Skills! Fun and professional language lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced-level proficiencies in Spanish are facilitated by our partner Spanish School in Heredia (Intercultura), which has over 20 years of experience.
Stay with a “Tico” Host Family! The highlight for most participants is the home stay. Families are experienced, carefully selected for HOME, warm and friendly. Homes are safe and comfortable and located within walking distance to the School.
